Absolutely, Lea, receiving a revelation about God's love for us personally is vital. Before we can begin any love relationship, we must first understand the concept of love through God's eyes. Once we see ourselves through the love that Christ carries for us personally, then we are able to give love and receive love in a healthy way. Then we will no longer validate our worth based on our relationships.

Ahhhhhhhh.....intimacy in marriage. What does a single (formerly married) person think of all this? How do we fit in this picture? Well, what we should be learning out here in this world as single (formerly married) people is to take all of the hurt and pain that has been accumulated from our past relationship and lay it at the foot of the cross. We have to learn the extreme, overpowering love that God has for us and then we can take all of that healing and hope into the next level God has prepared for us. One thing I have learned that has helped me through every situation in the 10 years since my separation and divorce is that none of it came as a surprise to God and he made provision for me long before I ever knew it was coming. I want to encourage the single people who are still longing for a new relationship and this type of intimacy to remain happy and focused on the One who loves them most...and everything else will fall into place.

I agree with my friend Dean below. (Hi Dean)
I believe a strong family begins with a strong marriage. Thanks for your ministry, Joyce and for starting this group.
