Kimmie, Thank you for updating us. I was wondering how you were doing. You know sometimes in our faith all God requires of us is to take baby steps. He never expects us to be a super faith filled christian in one day. Each day just take one small ba…

The FED Up Girl

I have to say I was a little shocked at the response since I posted my first blog. Thank you to everyone who has given support and prayers to my situation. I am still pretty depsondent with God right now, but maybe there is hope for me. I am returning home today with my daughter. I probably won't be able to get to the computer again for a couple of days since my husband will be there (he's not an ogre, but he hasn't seen me in 10 days). Anyway, the support that everyone here has offered has been… Continue

I'm Done and FED UP!!!

I'm writing this tonight because my best friend sent me this website. I am so FED UP that I have given up following God. I feel alone in my walk with him and alone when I face the trials in my life. I feel that I have prayed and prayed....and PRAYED for whatever it is God thinks I need to overcome the trials I am dealing with in my unequally yolked marriage. After nearly a year of church and nightly readings of the Bible, followed by prayer, I still feel that I am alone on this quest. My husband… Continue

God speaks in the moments you least expect Him to. Let me ask, Where does your mind wonder in the mundane things like folding laundry, cleaning the bathroom, doing the dishes, driving down the road?
Second look at circumstance around you with God vision glasses. Another words, ask yourself what is good about the the bad thing that just happened. Like the two minutes late that you left the house saved you from the accident just down the street that happened only moments ago. Hmmm.. was the coincidence or what that God's hand in your life? Not everything will be clear right away. Sometime life circumstances take longer to come into focus, but you will see everything has it's time and purpose. Don't take an entire vacation from God, instead of reading your Bible maybe just really listening to a song and find why it has a special meaning in your life at this time and then pray and most importantly listen for God's responses during the whole day not just the few moments you put aside for him.

Hi Kimmie, I have just read an awesome book that I am sure will help you to see the real problem and solution of your "fed up" status. You can download it. The title: So you don't want to go to church anymore. Don't be confused by the title, the contents of it is fantastic! Blessings!
